Successive failed rainy seasons and a heating climate has driven the Horn of Africa to the brink of famine. In central Somalia, the most vulnerable are feeling the acute effects of climate change. Thousands trek through the desert to reach overstretched camps housing people displaced by drought. Children are malnourished and disease is rife.
